Coimbatore: The daughter of a security guard working at the City Corporation office, has cleared the NEET in her third attempt overcoming her odds and will be pursuing Ayurveda in Erode.
The long haul wait of a medical aspirant has come to an end after she clears the NEET in her third attempt, and will soon study to be a doctor. Bhavadharini is the daughter of a security guard working in the Coimbatore Corporation.
Bhavadharani completed her schooling at Sengottaiyan Government School, Sundarapuram, and scored 486 marks in Class X and was a school topper. Backed by her school teachers, she chose to study the first group in class 11, Biology at SRK Ammaniammal Government School. She scored 404 out of 600 in her grade 12 board exams and appeared for NEET.
Bhavadharini underwent coaching in a government-conducted free NEET course in Pollachi, she twice appeared for the exams, but was only fortunate enough to score 180 marks in NEET, but cleared it the third time.
An entrance examination was conducted for the government school students through the RAPPOR organization and 5 students have been selected after the interview and will undergo training to study medicine.
Bhavadharini has now obtained an opportunity to study at Nandu Ayurveda College Erode fulling her long-time dream.
The constant efforts and the victory of a girl from an ordinary background is an inspiration for many.
