The schools are preparing the students for the recently announced board exams, for classes 10, 11 and 12 and one lakh and 14 thousand students will be appearing for the exams from the city, stated the district educational officers
Coimbatore: The board exams schedules is announced for 10, 11 and 12th grade students in tamil Nadu. As many as 1,14,096 students will be appearing for the exams from Coimbatore this academic year.
With the announcement of dates and schedules for the board exams for classes 10, 11 and 12, a list of students to appear for public examinations has been prepared in Coimbatore district. According to reports, a total of 1,14,096 candidates will appear for the 10th, 11th and 12th grade board exams from the city.
The practical examinations for all the three grades will be held between April 25th and May 2nd. This will be followed by public examinations for 10th standard students from 6th to 30th May. The examination will be conducted from 9th to 31st May for class 11th, and for the 12th class, the exams will be held from May 5th to 31th.
It has also been announced that the exam results for class 10 students will be released on June 17th, the exam results for 12th on June 23th and the results for class 11 will be released on July 7th.
A list of students to appear for public examinations has been prepared in Coimbatore district. Accordingly, a total of 41,941 students viz., 21,282 boys, 20,659 girls, will appear for class 10 exams, the 11th grade board exams will be attended by 37,160 students in total, 17,503 boys and 19,657 girls will write the board exams, from government, government aided private high and higher secondary schools in Coimbatore district.
A total of 34, 995 students, 15, 940 boys, 19,055 girls will appear for the +2 public Examination.District Education Department officials said a total of one lakh 14,14,096 candidates will appear for the 10, plus-1, plus-2 board examination in Coimbatore district.
