Duo escapes without paying after filling petrol at petrol pump in Coimbatore

Two bike-borne men escaped from the KNG Pudur Petrol Pump in Coimbatore on Sunday night after filling petrol for Rs 800 and the pump manager was also injured in an attempt to catch the two


Coimbatore: Two men fled the petrol pump after filling petrol in their bike in Coimbatore. The CCTV footage of the incident is viral on the internet.



The Thudiyalur police are on the lookout for the youths who escaped without paying money, after filling petrol for their two-wheeler at a petrol pump near KNG Pudur in Coimbatore. Prabhakaran, the Manager at the petrol pump was also slightly injured as he tried to stop the young men.



Reportedly, at 9.50 pm on Sunday night when two young men hit the petrol pump to fill their bike with fuel, Prabhakaran was on duty and filled petrol for ₹ 800. The duo when asked for the money, tried to flee the spot, but Prabhakaran caught hold of the pillion rider by his hand.

However, the Manager stumbled and fell down while attempting to stop the duo. On a complaint filed, the Thudiyalur police are investigating the matter. They are investigating with CCTV footage taken from the petrol pump.
