Pollachi Jayaraman seeks immediate action on petition seeking beneficiaries of free house site patta undergo process of land survey in Pollachi

Pollachi Jayaraman along with the villagers of Bodipalayam and Puravipalayam have submitted a petition to the Sub-collector requesting a survey of land for those beneficiaries who received free housing site pattas during the AIADMK regime.

Pollachi: MLA Pollachi Jayaraman has sought the Pollachi Sub-Collector’s immediate action for the survey of lands for the beneficiaries of free house site pattas in Bodipalayam and Puravipalayam.

“Free house site pattas were distributed to the poor and needy in various areas including Puravipalayam and Bodipalayam in Pollachi assembly constituency during the previous regime. However the current government has not taken action so far for land provision, despite taking charge”, stated the MLA Pollachi Jayaraman.

Assembly member Pollachi Jayaraman and villagers submitted a petition to the Pollachi Sub-Collector Thakare Shubham Dnyandeorao seeking beneficiaries undergo the process of land survey immediately.

Addressing the press, the assembly member stated that the AIADMK had introduced and implemented various welfare schemes in the ten-year tenure especially for poor and needy. “In particular, cash of 1,000 and another sum of 2,500 was distributed during the AIADMK period, as Pongal gift money and 1,000 as corona relief fund.”

Adding that AIADMK distributed quality items to the public, he alleged that none of this happened during the DMK rule and people across Tamil Nadu are agitated. No free saree or dhotis have been provided and DMK has been acting against the poor.

Jayaraman added that the anti-poor attitude of DMK will help AIADMK gain victory in the local body elections.
