Coimbatore: The Coimbatore District Mediation Centre has appealed to members of the public, litigants and lawyers to make use of mediation to resolve eligible cases amicably, as part of the nationwide ‘Mediation for Nation 3.0’ campaign.
The campaign, to be held from October 1 to December 31, 2026, aims to encourage the settlement of pending court cases through mediation and promote the use of alternative dispute resolution. The initiative is being carried out under the guidance of the Tamil Nadu State Mediation and Conciliation Centre through mediation centres functioning across the district.
Through mediation, disputing parties can work towards mutually acceptable settlements, helping reduce the time and costs associated with prolonged litigation. The campaign also seeks to create greater awareness of mediation as an effective means of resolving disputes.
