AIADMK will contest in local polls with belief in public, states ex-Minister SP Velumani at the party consultative meeting in Tirupur

A consultative meeting with the party members was held at the AIADMK office ahead of the urban local polls announcements in which the former Minister SP Velumani stated that the party will win these elections placing full confidence on the public


Tirupur: The AIADMK Consultative Meeting was held at the Tirupur District Party Office on Thursday.



'AIADMK will face elections with confidence in people, while DMK depends on money', stated the former Minister at the consultative meeting in Tirupur with the party.

AIADMK consultative meeting on urban local body elections was held at AIADMK's Tirupur City district office. The meeting was chaired by AIADMK regional in-charge and former minister SP Velumani.The meeting was attended by senior functionaries including Tirupur City District AIADMK Secretary Pollachi Jayaraman, former ministers Udumalai Radhakrishnan and MSM Anandan.



Speaking with the party members, the Ex-Minister stated that they should stand together and win at all the 60 wards in Tirupur in the local body elections. 'Everyone should strive with the intention that AIADMK should emerge victorious, whoever is selected as the candidate.'

He stated that they will have to take it to the public about the implementation of the fourth water supply scheme, Avinashi Athikkadavu project was implemented during the AIADMK regime.

'The promises of DMK were not fulfilled, and the public were deluded with Pongal hampers'.



He added that AIADMK should act carefully and seek success in all the areas including the Corporation, Municipality, Town Panchayat, offering complete support to the candidates contesting in the elections.

Stating that DMK is dependent on money to win the elections, he added that AIADMK will stand united and win with trust in people.

'No one shall be fooled by DMK’s false propaganda. This message must be conveyed to the people', he said.
