Police have seized 2 roosters and arrested 3 for their involvement in rooster fighting in Mullakkadu area
Coimbatore: Police have seized 2 roosters used for rooster fighting and arrested three people who were involved in rooster fight.
Kinathukkadavu police have received a tip-off that money was also involved in rooster fighting hosted at Mullakkadu on Arasam Palayam Karacheri Road near Kinathukkadavu in Coimbatore district. The police including Assistant Inspector Chandran of Kinathukadavu police station went to the stated location and found that there rooster fight was hosted there.
Following this, the police seized 2 roosters used for rooster fighting and arrested three persons including Rajkumar (38) from Kothawadi area, Paramasivam (42) from Kappalangarai area and Jegatheeswaran (21) from Kothawadi area.
Police have since filed a case against those arrested and are investigating.
