MLA Vijeyakumar of AIADMK, Tirupur North has been diagnosed with Corona-19 infection as he tested positive for the virus after he exhibited mild symptoms. He lives with his family in Periyar Colony.
Reportedly, Vijeyakumar developed illness due to cold and fever in the last few days and took the corona test.The MLA was diagnosed with the infection. He was subsequently admitted to a private hospital for treatment.
People who have been in close contact with him, for the past three days will also be tested for the infection.
