The Tamil Nadu government’s Pongal gift package is being distributed in the state since the 4th of January and 21,146 beneficiaries received the packages in the last five days.
Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu government’s Pongal gift package was distributed to beneficiaries. In the last five days 21,146 received the package.
The Tamil Nadu government announced a package with 21 items for Pongal for the ration cardholders, and the distribution began on the 4th of January in Coimbatore and the other districts. Accordingly, the Pongal gift package was distributed to cardholders in 70 ration shops in Kinathukadavu taluk.
According to taluk supply department officials, 21,146 cardholders have been given Pongal gift packages in the last 5 days.
Officials said the remaining cardholders will be distributed the packages quickly.
