19 members of the Naam Tamil party who were involved in the struggle, were forcibly taken away by the police and arrested. Earlier, Coimbatore City Police Law and Order Deputy Commissioner Jayachandran visited the school where the RSS training is being held to inspect the security arrangements.

Coimbatore: Yesterday, the RSS condemned the 8th day of a training camp at a private school in the Vilankurichi area of Coimbatore.

More than 30 members of various organizations, including Thanthai Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam, Viduthalai Siruthaigal were arrested in connection with the protest.

It was announced today that a sit-in protest would be held on behalf of the Naam Tamil Party in front of the same school. Following this, a large number of policemen were deployed on security duty in front of the school.

The Naam Tamil party led by Karthika, the women's team leader of the Naam Tamil Party, besieged the school where the RSS training is being held and staged a protest.

At that time, 19 members of the Naam Tamil party who were involved in the struggle were forcibly taken away by the police and arrested.

Earlier, Coimbatore City Police Law and Order Deputy Commissioner Jayachandran had visited the school where the training is held, to inspect the security arrangements and instructed the Hindu organizers who were on security duty at the school gate to enter the school premises.

Also, the Hindutva organization detained Jayachandran, the Deputy Commissioner of Law and Order, who tried to enter the school premises and got into an argument with him. Then, there was a slight tug of war between the police and the Hindutva organization. Thus, a tense situation prevailed in the area for some time.

As a result, shops, including the bakery in front of the school, were closed. There was a stir in the area due to the push thorn between the police, the Hindu organization and the Naam Tamil siege struggle.
