Coimbatore: The Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) General Secretary Vaiko visited Poongodi Senthilnathan’s family in Erode to pay his respect to their son who passed away recently in an accident.
S. Mithun, son of Poongodi Senthilnathan, member of MDMK Political Consultative Committee, passed away in a road accident on his way to Hubli, Karnataka last morning. MDMK general secretary Vaiko and Durai Vaiko arrived in Coimbatore by air from Chennai on Wednesday to console the grieving family.
Vaiko received a grand welcome at the airport, under the chairmanship of MDMK's district secretary R R Mohan Kumar, for which Vaiko thanked all the executives.
At the reception, MP, Ganeshamurthy, Coimbatore City Mawatha Secretary R R Mohan Kumar, Erode City District Secretary N. Murugan, Coimbatore North District Secretary P. N Rajendran, Tirupur City District Secretary Nagaraj, Auditor Arjunaraj, R Sethupathi, and others were present.
