Police arrested Satish Kumar (39) from Tirupur fire area, a bus assistant who sexually harassed a five-year old girl. The police registered a case against Satish Kumar under the POCSO Act and arrested him yesterday.
Coimbatore: The 5-year-old daughter of a man from Tirupur Guruvayoorappannagar Mahalakshminagar is studying LKG at a private matriculation school run by the AIADMK ex-councilor in the area. On the 16th, the girl was bathed by her mother. There was the wound, like a blood clot on the little girl's body.
The shocked mother immediately rushed the girl to a private hospital in Pandiannagar. The doctors examined the girl and instructed her to report the sexual harassment to the police. The girl's mother lodged a complaint at the Tirupur North All Women's Police Station on the 16th. The police registered a case in that regard.

Footage from more than 100 surveillance cameras at the school were inspected due to the public protest. Following this, the girl was asked to call all the teachers in the school, the bus drivers and bus assistants and identify them. In the process, the little girl identified one.
