On behalf of the Coimbatore Corporation East Zone, the employees of the Corporation carried out activities including dengue mosquito eradication, awareness raising and medical camp in Cheran Ma Nagar and surrounding areas from this morning.
Coimbatore: The number of people admitted to the hospital due to dengue fever has been increasing in recent days in Cheran Ma Nagar, Vilankurichi and surrounding areas under the East Zone of Coimbatore Corporation. Children in particular, suffer the most.
Following this, on behalf of the Coimbatore Corporation East Zone, the employees of the Coimbatore Corporation carried out activities including dengue mosquito eradication, awareness raising and medical camp in Cheran Ma Nagar and surrounding areas from this morning.
Previously affected areas which are at a high risk of acquiring dengue were identified.
Corporation officials and staff split into groups and are engaged in dengue control work, in a bid to contain the spread of dengue.
