Youngster in Coimbatore issues death threats through song, cops make him sing apology through another, video viral

The video of rural police making a youngster apologize for allegedly threatening a man to death through Ghana song has gone viral on social media.



Coimbatore: Police have arrested a youth for threatening a man to death through Ghana song in the Sulur area. Video of the cops making him apologize through another song has captured the attention of internet users.

Youth in connection in the case was arrested by the police after he threatened a man from an opposite group to death through a Ghana song. The cops later made him sing another Ghana stating he would not indulge in such things.

The Ghana group, ‘Sweet Rascals’ in Sulur split, and two different groups, another named Everest Boys was formed. The two groups are said to sing songs during events and Pongal festivals. The public complained about the nuisances through these clashes.

The Sulur police have already registered a case against the members of one group in two incidents and arrested about 8 persons.Reportedly a member of the group was chased and severely assaulted by the opposite group. The police immediately arrested and imprisoned the alleged group, while Abees, 18 from Sulur Mathialagan Nagar, who was on search in connection with a case, was arrested for issuing death threats.

Upon the orders of the District SP, early this morning, a team including Sulur Inspector of Police Mathaiyan, Sub- Inspectors Navaneetha Krishnan, Rajendra Prasad and Chief Constable Chandru and Varadarajan held and are interrogating the alleged person.



The police have made the alleged person sing another Ghana song stating he would not indulge in such things. The video has gone viral on the internet.
