Leaders of Federation of Tamil Nadu Islamic Movements and Political Parties meet Chief Minister in Chennai

They said they reflected the sentiments of the society and stressed the need for the release of Muslim life sentence prisoners.


Coimbatore: Leaders of the Federation of Tamil Nadu Islamic Movements and Political Parties led by Maulana P A Gaja Moinuddeen Bhagavi called on the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M K Stalin on Thursday, at the General Secretariat on behalf of the Federation.

The leaders stated that they reflected the sentiments of the society at the meeting with the TN Chief Minister and stressed the need for the release of Muslim life sentence prisoners.They also pointed out that people are in a certain frame of mind that they if they do not get freedom uner this Government, they will never get their freedom.

The meeting which lasted for about 15 minutes was also attended by key Government officials. The Chief Minister assured them that he would consider their requests.
