Water supply office seized; petition filed alleging that drinking water supply is irregular

The Marxist Communist Party today besieged the drinking water supply office and filed a petition alleging that drinking water was not being supplied properly in these areas which are inhabited by more than 20,000 civilians in the two wards, 42 and 43.

Drinking water is provided only once in 15 days to the people of the area even during the rainy season.



More than 50 people from the area besieged the Marxist Communist Party office today and besieged the drinking water supply office and petitioned the corporation commissioner, demanding a regular supply of drinking water.
