Tenure of Vice-Chancellor of TNAU ends on the 15th November

An appointment team has been set up to select the 14th Vice-Chancellor. Applications for the post of Vice-Chancellor can be submitted to the committee by the 30th. Eligible candidates will have their applications accepted and submitted to the Chancellor on the basis of the marks awarded on behalf of the committee.



Coimbatore: The tenure of the Vice-Chancellor of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) in Coimbatore ends on the 15th. Applications for the post of Vice-Chancellor can be submitted to the Vice-Chancellor appointment Committee till the 30th.

Tamil Nadu Agricultural University was established in 1971 at Lawley Road, Coimbatore. The role of this varsity in the development of agriculture is significant. The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University plays an important role in the development of the agricultural sector, especially in Tamil Nadu.

The university offers agricultural education, research and extension services. Current Vice-Chancellor Kumar has won the award for Best Support Vice-Chancellor last year. This award has been given on behalf of the National Tamil Science Institute. It is also worth noting that he has won the Best Supporting award twice so far.
