In a search led by a police sub-inspector in Jallipatti and Kammalapatti 5-liter cans and a 12-liter pot used for storing for illegal coconut toddy was confiscated.
Coimbatore: Police zeroed down on a man for storing and selling coconut toddy in a farm near Coimbatore. As part of a search led by a police sub-inspector, police yesterday, a team patrolled various places including Jallipatti and Kammalapatti. In the search operation, it was learned that in Mantralayam 5-liter cans and a 12-liter pot was used for storing for illegal coconut toddy. Police arrested Mandi Rajalam, (50), in connection with the incident and the illicit liquor was confiscated.
