Former Indian leg spinner Anil Kumble expressed hope that India will win the T20 World Cup.
Speaking to the media at his Tenvic Cricket Academy, Kumble told reporters, “The world cup is around the corner and I’m hoping that India will bring the Cup.”
On the controversial question of playing Pakistan, he said that whenever India played anyone, “we played for the cause of the team.”
On spinner R. Ashwin’s performance, he said, “Probably he is the number one spinner in the world.”
