Tirupur: Minister Udumalai Radhakrishnan's PA abducted in broad daylight
Tirupur: A gang of four unidentified persons entered the MLA's office at Udumalaipettai and abducted Karnan, an aide to Minister of Animal Husbandry Udumalai Radhakrishnan, in broad daylight at the Udumalaipettai Assembly Office building.
Tirupur District Superintendent of Police Dhisa Mittal arrived at the scene and is investigating the incident from various angles such as whether he was abducted for political reasons or personal.
Karnan was later dropped off at Dhali near Udumalaipettai. The incident caused quite a stir in the area.
