The Nilgiris: The Nilgiris on Saturday reported a spike of 61 new COVID-19 cases, taking the total number of infections to 2,279.



The Nilgiris: The Nilgiris on Saturday reported a spike of 61 new COVID-19 cases, taking the total number of infections to 2,279.

With a related fatality today, the district death toll rose to 17.

The number of active cases stood at 509 today.

In some positive news, the district discharged 28 recovered patients today, taking the tally of recoveries to 1,753.
