Migrant worker killed in Coimbatore in a fight over pickle!

Coimbatore: In a fight that broke out between two migrant North Indian worker over sharing pickle, one worker attacked the other which led to his death. This incident has shocked many.

Four migrant workers, employed in private companies have taken accomodation in a room in Peelamedu. Two of them left the room after lunch yesterday while the other two were still eating.

Since the gravy was over, Siddu Kumar (17) asked his room mate Bajirangi Kumar (20) for pickle who refused to give it to him.

This led to an argument between the two young men that ended up in a fight. During the fight, Bajirangi Kumar strangled Siddu Kumar and kicked him. He then left the room. Siddu Kumar fainted due to the attack and was taken by his other roommates to the hospital.

At the hospital the doctors who checked Siddu Kumar declared him dead on arrival. On receiving information regarding this, Peelamedu police took Bajirangi Kumar into custody and are investigating the matter.

This incident where a death occurred due to a fight for pickle has caused a stir. Both of the workers belong to Patna, Bihar.
