Tirupur CITU protests to regularize COVID-19 relief to victims

Tirupur: CITU protested in Tirupur demanding the regularization COVID-19 relief funds to victims. The lockdown that was announced in March has led to several difficulties in the livelihoods of the destitute and marginalized.

Tirupur: CITU protested in Tirupur demanding the regularization COVID-19 relief funds to victims. The lockdown that was announced in March has led to several difficulties in the livelihoods of the destitute and marginalized.



Hence the CITU protested and placed various demands including relief for people who lost their livelihoods and distribution of free ration for six months.



The protest took place today on the Arisi Kadai Road in Tirupur. Protesters chanted slogans emphasizing their demands.
