Smoke started erupting from the front of the vehicle when Easwaram arrived on the Nanjappa Road. Following this, he immediately stopped the vehicle.
However, fire broke out in the front of the vehicle. People nearby moved their vehicles to safety. Following this, people there tried to extinguish the fire by pouring water. The fire department was notified and they reached the spot to put out the fire.
