The research scientists , led by Dr. A.S. Krishnamoorthy and a Ph.D student B.Priyadarshini found a giant robust Mushroom of 6.5 Kg.
Scientist from Department of Plant Pathology of Tamil Nadu Agriculture University collected it from Narasimhapalayam , Coimbatore.
To be more precise about its family , it belongs to Tricolomataceace and species of Calocybe Indica and called Milky Mushroom. It is grown at high temperatures and humidity. This giant mushroom can be stored upto seven days
