Man killed in wall collapse at Pollachi

V. Kuppusamy (57), a construction worker of Kaliannanpudur near Kovilpalayam at Kinathukadavu, died after the compound wall of a mill where he was at work at Rangasamuthiram in Pollachi collapsed and fell on him on Saturday. The police said that the victim and his brother V. Jothilingam (56) were working near the newly-constructed eight-feet-tall wall when it fell on them. Kuppusamy died on way to the hospital. Jothilingam was under treatment.

The Kottur police registered a case against the general manager and supervisor of the mill and were investigating.
