In a tragic accident, a 60 year old man was killed after his two wheeler was hit by another near Sundarapuram in Coimbatore here on Tuesday.
According to sources, the deceased R.Selvam was reportedly residing at Gounder Street in Machampalayam in Coimbatore. On Monday, while riding on the Pollachi main Road, his vehicle was hit by another motorist and he fell and sustained head injuries.
Though he was submitted at the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital (CMCH) on Monday on he succumbed on Tuesday.
A case has been registered with the Traffic wing of the city police.
