983 first year engineering students of Park Group of Institutions took part in a 4-day induction program held from September 18 to 21, conducted in association with Yukti Business Solutions. The experiential sessions covered ice breakers, communication, team building, problem solving and leadership training, along with soft skills like punctuality, accountability, time management and discipline. Dr. Anusha Ravi, CEO, Park Institutions, urged students to be curious and disruptive in thinking but disciplined in action. The program used a gamification model instead of classroom pedagogy to help students transition smoothly from school to college life.
Coimbatore: A four-day induction program for 983 first year engineering students of Park Group of Institutions was successfully conducted from September 18th to 21st, in association with Yukti Business Solutions.

The session was conducted in an experiential format where students were involved in ice breakers, communication exercises, team building, problem solving and leadership training. The soft skill management training focused on professional etiquettes like punctuality, accountability, time management and discipline.

Through these outbound activities, students were helped to have a smooth transition from school to college. They were made aware of the college atmosphere and culture. The program was a grand success, with students actively participating, and from the very first day they were made to feel at home.
