Coimbatore: A comprehensive social data survey for persons with disabilities is being conducted in Coimbatore district until September 2026 under the Tamil Nadu Rights Scheme through the Welfare Department for Differently Abled. Community Rehabilitation Workers (CRW) and Community Facilitators (CF) will conduct this door-to-door survey to collect detailed information about persons with disabilities.

The objective of this survey is to identify all persons with disabilities in the district and create pathways for providing them with required government schemes and welfare programs. Through this initiative, programs for social rehabilitation and welfare of persons with disabilities will be enhanced and improved.
