Coimbatore:

The Congress party has been allocated multiple constituencies in Western Tamil Nadu as part of the DMK-led alliance seat-sharing arrangement for the 2026 Assembly elections.

In the Kongu and western belt, the party has been allotted Udhagamandalam in the Nilgiris, Erode East, Goundampalayam and Singanallur in Coimbatore district, along with Krishnagiri, Pennagaram and Uthangarai (SC) in the north-western region.

Among these, Goundampalayam and Singanallur are key urban constituencies within Coimbatore city, while Erode East remains an important seat in the Erode district. Udhagamandalam represents the Nilgiris region, and Krishnagiri, Pennagaram and Uthangarai cover parts of the Dharmapuri–Krishnagiri belt.
