Raghuraman Takes Charge as New Commissioner of Valparai Municipality

Raghuraman assumed office as the new Commissioner of Valparai Municipality in Coimbatore district. He replaces Vinayagam, who has been transferred to Chennai. Local officials and party leaders welcomed the new commissioner.



Coimbatore: Raghuraman has taken charge as the new Commissioner of Valparai Municipality in Coimbatore district. The appointment comes after the transfer of the previous commissioner, Vinayagam, to Chennai.

Prior to his current posting, Raghuraman served as the Municipal Commissioner in Arakkonam, Chennai. His appointment to Valparai marks a significant change in the local administrative leadership of the hill station.

The new commissioner was warmly welcomed by the municipal chairperson, deputy chairperson, ward members, and local party leaders. They extended their greetings and best wishes to Raghuram as he assumes his new role in Valparai.

Valparai, a picturesque hill station in the Anamalai Hills of Coimbatore district, is known for its tea estates and biodiversity. The change in municipal leadership is expected to bring fresh perspectives to the town's administration and development initiatives.
