MLA PRG Arun Kumar Inaugurates Road and Crematorium Projects in Periyanaickenpalayam

Coimbatore MLA PRG Arun Kumar initiated concrete road construction and crematorium waiting hall projects in Periyanaickenpalayam on October 9, with a total budget of Rs 17.75 lakh from various funds.


Coimbatore: Goundampalayam constituency MLA PRG Arun Kumar inaugurated multiple infrastructure projects in Periyanaickenpalayam on Monday, October 9. The projects include concrete road construction and a crematorium waiting hall, aimed at improving local facilities.



In Periyanaickenpalayam Panchayat, covering areas like Aanaikkatti and Alamaraimedu, a concrete road construction project worth Rs 4.90 lakh was initiated using Union funds. MLA Arun Kumar performed the groundbreaking ceremony in the presence of local officials and residents.

Another concrete road project in R. Natkadu area of Periyanaickenpalayam West Union was also launched, with an allocation of Rs 7.35 lakh from the 15th Finance Commission funds. Additionally, a crematorium waiting hall project, estimated at Rs 5.50 lakh, was inaugurated during the same event.

The ceremonies were attended by Periyanaickenpalayam Union Secretary Duraisamy, Union Councillor Narmadha Duraisamy, along with party workers and local citizens. These projects are expected to significantly enhance the infrastructure and amenities in the Periyanaickenpalayam area, benefiting the local community.
