Coimbatore: Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati has announced that applications are now open for setting up temporary fireworks shops in Coimbatore district for the upcoming Diwali festival on October 31, 2024.

Those interested in establishing temporary fireworks shops can submit their applications along with the necessary documents through the official website www.tnesevai.tn.gov.in. Applicants are advised to obtain a copy of their registration after completing the online submission process.

The District Collector made this announcement on October 6, emphasizing the importance of following the proper application procedure. This early notification aims to ensure smooth processing of applications and adequate preparation time for shopkeepers ahead of the festive season.

Authorities are expected to review the applications and grant permissions based on safety regulations and local guidelines. Shopkeepers are urged to comply with all safety measures and regulations while setting up and operating their temporary fireworks outlets during the Diwali season.
