Coimbatore to Host India's First Paper and Packaging Exhibition at CODISSIA

The 3P Expo's Ramet India 2024, India's first exhibition for raw materials and resources in paper and packaging, will be held at CODISSIA Complex from September 10-12, featuring machinery demonstrations and industry innovations.


Coimbatore: The CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex in Coimbatore is set to host India's first-ever exhibition dedicated to raw materials and resources in the paper and packaging industry. The event, named "3P Expo's Ramet India 2024," will run from September 10 to 12, 2023.

This groundbreaking exhibition marks the first time in India that a comprehensive showcase of paper and packaging processes will be held under one roof, complete with live machinery demonstrations. The poster release ceremony for the event took place on September 4 at the CODISSIA hall, attended by 3P Expo Chairman Jagadeesan, CODISSIA President Karthikeyan, and other officials.

Organizers expect over 10,000 participants from various states across India to attend the three-day event. The exhibition boasts several unique features, including dedicated pavilions for logistics, warehousing, and material handling sectors. Industry association representatives, 55 exhibition stalls, and more than 20 direct manufacturers will be participating.

The expo is projected to facilitate business transactions worth Rs. 150 crore. Over 50 companies will be presenting their technological innovations and products. Leading firms from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Haryana, Karnataka, and Maharashtra are among the participants.

The exhibition will be open to visitors from 10 AM to 5 PM on all three days. In a move to encourage widespread participation and knowledge sharing, entry for all visitors will be free of charge.

This pioneering event is expected to serve as a platform for industry professionals to network, explore new technologies, and foster business relationships in the paper and packaging sector. It represents a significant step in promoting innovation and growth in this crucial industry.
