Coimbatore: The Poompuhar handicrafts showroom on Big Bazaar Street in Coimbatore is set to host a special Vinayagar Chaturthi exhibition and sale from September 2 to 12, 2024. The event will be open daily from 10 AM to 8 PM, showcasing a wide array of Ganesha-themed artworks and idols.



The exhibition will feature Ganesha idols crafted from various materials, including panchaloha (five-metal alloy), brass, sandalwood, and black and white metals.



Visitors can also find Tanjore paintings, papier-mâché creations, clay figurines, nookamara inlay work, and fabric paintings depicting Lord Ganesha.



A diverse collection of Ganesha statues will be available for purchase.



As a special offer, all Ganesha idols sold during the exhibition will be discounted by 10%. The Poompuhar showroom management anticipates sales to reach up to 10 lakh rupees during this event, highlighting the popularity and cultural significance of Vinayagar Chaturthi celebrations in the region.
