The Collector stated that based on a complaint received by the Women's Commission, social welfare department officials visited the college for investigation. He revealed that charges were filed against four individuals, although the main accused was not present. Following a complaint filed by the DSO (District Social Officer), all four accused were arrested and a case was registered against them. Pati warned that the government would take strict action against such incidents.

Kranthi Kumar Pati announced that at 3 PM today, all higher education institutions and schools in the state would receive guidelines on sexual harassment awareness and prevention measures through video conferencing.
