Karpagam Institute of Technology Celebrates World Entrepreneur Day and Udyamita Diwas

Coimbatore: Karpagam Institute of Technology celebrated World Entrepreneur Day, also known as Udyamita Diwas, on August 21, 2024, with a focus on fostering entrepreneurship among students. The event featured Mr. Jeeva Sasikumar, CEO of Techbylanz Business Solutions, as the chief guest.

Dr. P. Manimaran, Principal of Karpagam Institute of Technology, inaugurated the event, emphasizing the crucial role of entrepreneurship in shaping future leaders. The celebration aimed to instil an innovative and enterprising mindset in students, highlighting the potential of entrepreneurship in driving economic growth and nation-building.



The 120-minute program attracted 100 enthusiastic students who engaged in discussions about the benefits of Udyamita for individuals, society, and the economy. Mr. Sasikumar shared valuable insights on local role models - successful entrepreneurs who have overcome challenges and capitalized on opportunities. He highlighted their journeys and the support they received from various government institutions.

This exchange of ideas not only motivated participants but also equipped them with valuable insights on how to embark on their entrepreneurial journeys.
