Minister Kayalvizhi Selvaraj Inaugurates Development Projects Worth Rs 80 Lakh in Moolanur Panchayat Union

Minister for Adi Dravidar Welfare Kayalvizhi Selvaraj inaugurated new development projects and completed works worth Rs 80 lakh in Moolanur Panchayat Union, Tiruppur district. The projects include road improvements and new public buildings.


Coimbatore: Minister for Adi Dravidar Welfare Kayalvizhi Selvaraj inaugurated new development projects and completed works worth Rs 80 lakh in Moolanur Panchayat Union of Tiruppur district on Monday. The minister also distributed sweets to the public after launching the new projects and inaugurating the completed works.

The development projects include the construction of a new tar road in Kulanthai Goundan Valasu area of Thurambadi Panchayat, and the foundation stone laying ceremony for a new Panchayat office building in Nathappalayam. Minister Kayalvizhi Selvaraj also inaugurated the renovation of old tar roads into new ones in Erasanampalaiyam and Uthama Goundampalaiyam areas.



In addition to the road works, the minister opened a newly constructed fair price shop in the same area. The projects also include the renovation of Ramapattanam Road in Kumarapalayam Panchayat and Rasipalayam Road. These development works have been initiated at an estimated cost of Rs 80 lakh.



Speaking at the event, Minister Kayalvizhi Selvaraj emphasized the government's commitment to rural development and improving infrastructure in panchayat areas. She stated that these projects would significantly enhance the quality of life for local residents and boost economic activities in the region.



The inauguration ceremony was attended by several prominent officials and party members, including L. Padmanabhan, DMK South District Secretary and Chairman of the Fourth Zonal Committee of Tiruppur Corporation; Karthi, Deputy Secretary of the State Sports Development Department; Durai Tamilarasu and Palanisamy, Moolanur Union Secretaries; Makkal Thandapani, Moolanur Town Party Secretary; Suresh, Kannivadi Town Panchayat Secretary; Mohanraj, Thurambadi DMK Secretary; and Sellamuthu, President of Kumarapalayam Panchayat Council. Several other department officials were also present at the event.
