Former Students Seek Blessings from Teachers in Emotional Reunion at Madathukulam Government Higher Secondary School, Tirupur

Tirupur: In a touching display of reverence and gratitude, former students of Madathukulam Government Higher Secondary School in Tirupur district sought blessings from their teachers by falling at their feet during an alumni meet. The event, which took place at the school's auditorium, brought together over 300 former students who had studied in classes 10, 11, and 12 during the years 1997, 1998, and 1999.



The reunion was marked by emotional moments as the alumni honored their former teachers with shawls and mementos.



The gesture of students touching the feet of their teachers for blessings was particularly moving, highlighting the enduring respect and affection they hold for their mentors even after 25 years.

Speaking at the event, some of the former students expressed their pride in being able to honor the teachers who had guided them. They emphasized the importance of respecting teachers, stating, "Just as we respect our parents, we should never forget the teachers who taught us. We are delighted to have gathered here after 25 years to reminisce about old memories."

The alumni also stressed the need for future generations to continue this tradition of honoring teachers. They reflected on how their teachers had not only imparted knowledge but also shaped their character and guided them towards the right path in life.

The event was organized by the alumni association of Madathukulam Government Higher Secondary School.
