BJP Organizes Vehicle Rally in Udumalpet to Mark 78th Independence Day

Udumalpet BJP organized a vehicle rally to commemorate the 78th Independence Day. The event included garlanding statues of Gandhi and Kamarajar, with participation from various party officials and members.



Coimbatore: The Udumalpet town unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a vehicle rally to mark the 78th Independence Day celebrations. The event was held in response to the call given by the Prime Minister and in accordance with the instructions of the state president Annamalai and Tiruppur South District President Mangalam Ravi.



The celebrations began with Town President Kannayiram garlanding the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Kuttai Thidal area, paying respects to the Father of the Nation.



Following this, State Executive Committee member Jothiswari Kandasamy flagged off the vehicle rally.



The rally commenced from Kuttai Thidal and proceeded through Sadasivam Street, Nellukadai Street, and Pollachi Road.



The participants halted at the old bus stand to garland the statue of K. Kamarajar.



The procession then continued via Thali Road railway overbridge and concluded back at Kuttai Thidal.

Several party officials and members participated in the event, including District Lawyer Observer B.N. Rajendran, General Secretary Radhika, Town General Secretaries Srinivasan and Thambidurai, District Campaign Team Secretary Chinraj, Town Vice President Uma Kuppusamy, and various other town secretaries, youth wing executives, Shakti Kendra in-charges, ward secretaries, and branch secretaries.

The rally showcased the BJP's commitment to celebrating India's independence and honoring national leaders, while also demonstrating the party's strength and organization at the local level in Udumalpet.
