Vishnu Prabhakar, Chairman of Yi-Coimbatore, highlighted that out of the 19 UPSC achievers honored, five were from PSG Institutions, Coimbatore. Annush Ramasamy, MD of Sri Kumaraguru Mills, who brought Samkalp Academy to Coimbatore, explained the vision behind Shambavi Samkalp. "We wanted to bring the same experience of Samkalp to Coimbatore and then extend it to the rest of South India," he said, emphasizing the goal of fostering meritocracy among aspiring candidates.

Governor Ravi congratulated the successful candidates and reminded them of their significant responsibilities as civil servants. He stressed the importance of implementing policies equitably and addressing public grievances. The Governor advised the achievers to remain humble and continue learning throughout their careers.

Sharing his personal experience, Governor Ravi said, "I, too, have come from a very underdeveloped area and cleared the Civil Services exam.
