Ladies Circle India donates a Midray Single Para Monitor worth Rs. 33,000 to Masonic Medical Centre for Children in Coimbatore. The equipment will benefit 2,000 children annually in the NICU.

Coimbatore: The Masonic Medical Centre for Children, a hospital dedicated to serving underprivileged children, received a generous donation of a Midray Single Para Monitor from Ladies Circle India on August 7, 2024. The vital medical equipment, valued at Rs. 33,000, will be utilized in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to cater to the needs of premature babies and infants up to six months old.

The Midray Single Para Monitor is an essential tool for monitoring vital signs, including heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, and blood pressure. It serves as the first alert system in critical situations, enabling immediate medical response when a child's condition changes. This equipment is expected to benefit around 2,000 children annually and over 200 children monthly, significantly enhancing the medical centre's ability to provide timely and effective care.

Aishwarya Gupta, Chairperson of Area 7, Ladies Circle India, expressed her organization's commitment to the cause, stating, "We are honored to support the Masonic Medical Centre for Children by donating the Midray Single Para Monitor. At Ladies Circle India, we are deeply committed to improving healthcare access for underprivileged children. This donation is a small step towards ensuring that every child receives timely and critical medical care. We believe that every life is precious and we are happy to contribute to this noble cause."

The donation of this crucial medical equipment is expected to have a significant impact on the quality of care provided at the Masonic Medical Centre for Children. By enabling more accurate and timely monitoring of infants' vital signs, the hospital can now respond more effectively to critical situations, potentially saving many young lives.
