TNAU Coimbatore Offers Training on Value-Added Products from Noni, Tomato, and Papaya

Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) in Coimbatore has announced a specialized training program on creating value-added products from noni, tomato, and papaya fruits. The two-day workshop is scheduled for August 13 and 14, 2024, as per a press release issued by the university on August 9.

The training will cover a range of products including noni plain, squash, pickle, and jam; tomato sauce, ketchup, paste, and puree; and papaya jam, squash, paste, and candy. This comprehensive program aims to equip participants with skills to transform these fruits into marketable products.

Interested individuals can participate by paying a fee of Rs. 1,770 (Rs. 1,500 + 18% GST) on the first day of the training. The workshop will be held at the Post Harvest Technology Centre, Agricultural Engineering College and Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore - 641 003.
