DMK Holds Silent Rally in Annur, Coimbatore to Commemorate Former CM Karunanidhi's Death Anniversary

DMK organized a silent rally in Annur, Coimbatore, on August 7 to mark former CM Karunanidhi's death anniversary. The procession, led by Panchayat President Parameswaran, paid respects at Karunanidhi's portrait.


Coimbatore: The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) organized a silent rally in Annur, Coimbatore, on Wednesday, August 7, to commemorate the death anniversary of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK patriarch M. Karunanidhi.



The rally, led by Panchayat President Parameswaran, began at the Travellers' Bungalow and proceeded through Koothandavar Temple Street and Kadai Street. The procession culminated at the roundabout where participants paid their respects by showering flowers on a portrait of Karunanidhi.



Notable attendees included Danabalan, the in-charge of the southern union, Sukumar, and various DMK executives and party workers. The event saw significant participation from local DMK members, demonstrating the party's continued reverence for their late leader.
