DMK Observes Former CM Karunanidhi's Death Anniversary Near Karamadai

DMK's Karamadai East Union observed the 6th death anniversary of former Chief Minister Karunanidhi on August 7. Members paid floral tributes and observed two minutes of silence near Chinna Thottipalayam.


Coimbatore: The DMK's Karamadai East Union commemorated the 6th death anniversary of former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi on August 7. The event took place near Chinna Thottipalayam, where party members gathered to pay their respects to the late leader.



The ceremony was led by S.M.T. Kalyanasundaram, the Union Secretary of DMK's Karamadai East Union. Kavitha Kalyanasundaram, a member of the District Trustee Committee, was also present at the event. Party members paid floral tributes to a portrait of Karunanidhi, honoring his memory and contributions to the state.

Prior to the floral tribute, the attendees observed two minutes of silence as a mark of respect for the departed leader. The solemn moment allowed the gathered DMK members to reflect on Karunanidhi's legacy and his impact on Tamil Nadu's political landscape.
