PMK District Secretary Seeks Police Protection, Alleges Assassination Attempt by Mercenaries

PMK District Secretary Ashok Srinidhi petitions Coimbatore City Police Commissioner for protection, claiming mercenaries attempted to assassinate him on July 30 on Avinashi Road, Coimbatore.

Coimbatore: Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) District Secretary Ashok Srinidhi has submitted a petition to the Coimbatore City Police Commissioner, seeking protection after alleging that mercenaries attempted to assassinate him.

In his petition, Srinidhi stated, "For the past year, we have been filing complaints against MyV3 Ads company, which has been involved in fraud amounting to over 2000 crores. The Economic Offences Wing, which investigated the matter, informed the court that MyV3 Ads company had received 2451 crores as investments and that nine and a half lakh people had been cheated. However, even after a year, the MyV3 Ads application continues to function."

Srinidhi further alleged, "We have been trying to prevent ongoing fraud. Is this wrong? Six months ago, I received death threats. An FIR was filed regarding this, but no action has been taken so far. In this situation, on July 30, three individuals belonging to a mercenary group attempted to kill me on Avinashi Road in Coimbatore. We filed a complaint with the police on the same day. However, to date, no one has been arrested, and no protection has been provided to me or my family."

The PMK District Secretary also mentioned that the party leader has issued a statement requesting protection for him. He added, "Our party members have also filed complaints regarding this matter, but no action has been taken. They provide protection to fraudsters, those involved in rowdy activities, and mercenaries."

Srinidhi concluded by stating that he has submitted a request to the Coimbatore City Police Commissioner seeking protection for himself and his family.
