Pollachi Municipality Office Siege by AIADMK Members Led by MLA Pollachi Jayaraman

Tension escalates as over a hundred AIADMK members, led by MLA Pollachi Jayaraman, stage a protest at Pollachi Municipality Office over various civic issues.

Coimbatore: The Pollachi Municipality Office witnessed a surge of tension today as over a hundred AIADMK members, along with MLA Pollachi Jayaraman and city AIADMK secretary Krishnakumar, staged a protest.

The demonstration was in response to the municipality's alleged neglect of civic duties, including improper water supply, inadequate garbage collection, non-functioning streetlights, and accusations of corruption among officials.

Earlier, a ceremony for the construction of a new bus shelter at Thiruvalluvar Thidal, funded by the MLA's resources, took place. However, the absence of government officials from the event led to this dramatic protest at the municipality office, sparking a significant uproar in the area.
