Collector inaugurates breakfast scheme at Corporation school in Varadharajapuram; shares breakfast with children

Breakfast menu including Pongal, idli and Sundal are being served to the primary school students under this Government scheme.


Coimbatore: Coimbatore District Collector Kranthikumar Pati and Corporation Commissioner Prathap inaugurated the Chief Minister's Breakfast Scheme at Varadharajapuram Corporation Primary School in Singanallur.



Following the launch of the breakfast scheme in government primary schools in the first phase by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin, breakfast is being served in various schools across the state.

The breakfast menu including Pongal, idli and Sundal are being served to the primary school students under this scheme.



Collector Kranthikumar shared the breakfast served in the school, and sat with the children to eat the breakfast.

Counsellor Lakshmi Ilanchelvi and others were present on the occasion.

Later the collector said that “the breakfast scheme will be extended to all government primary schools across Coimbatore district soon”.
