Speaking on the occasion, Police Commissioner K Balakrishnan said that the families affected by social crimes in Coimbatore city are being provided material and educational assistance on behalf of the Kavasam Foundation keeping in view their future well-being.

“Steps will be taken to give psychological counselling to the affected persons if there is a need,” the Commissioner said
