Nataraj, who was riding a two-wheeler on the Kinathukadavu-Pollachi road, was hit by a car and he died on the spot.
Coimbatore: Nataraj (51) was a resident of Ponmalai Nagar near Kinathukadavu in Coimbatore district. He was travelling on his two-wheeler from Kinathukadavu-Pollachi road.
While negotiating a curve, a car barged at the rear of the two-wheeler driven by Nataraj killing him on the spot.
Nataraj, who was seriously injured in the incident, was rescued by the locals and sent to Pollachi government hospital in an ambulance. The doctors who examined him pronounced him brought dead.
Kinathukadavu police have registered a case against Kishore, who drove the car and caused the accident.
